Skopje, 13 June 2023 (MIA) — A retrospective of animated films from North Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina will be shown at Sarajevo's Meeting Point cinema on June 13-14.

In addition to screenings, the event will also include a film exhibition presenting the development of animated film over the years. On display will be posters, foils, puppets and other materials from animated films produced by Vardar Film and recent Macedonian animated films, organizers say.

Vardar Film Center director Sani Saidi, together with filmmakers Zharko Ivanov and Krste Gospodinovski, will attend the screenings and talks dedicated to animated films. They will be joined by Bosnian animator Mitad Ajnovic and Sarajevo Film Center director Ines Tanovic.

The event is organized by Skopje's Vardar Film Center and the Sarajevo Film Center. mr/
