Skopje, 15 May 2024 (MIA) - Strategic leadership in an era of change and innovation, digital transformation, and enhanced regional cooperation as the cornerstone for fostering prosperous economies are the central topics of discussion at the Summit 2024 kicking off Wednesday in Skopje.

The two-day summit organized by Macedonia2025, a non-governmental organization, features more than 450 attendees and over 50 experts from the business and academic sectors across several countries.

The Summit 2024 will delve into a wide range of topics, focusing on regional cooperation and competitiveness, strategies for attracting foreign direct investments, digital transformation for modern businesses, strategic leadership in an era of change and innovation, tackling government corruption, building resilient and adaptable global supply chains, unleashing the power of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, harnessing analytics and intelligence for business success, and leveraging digital health innovations for enhanced medical services. Democracy, freedom of speech in the era of digitalization will be among key topics at the Macedonia 2025 Summit, as well as many other topics related to business models and strategies for rapid and successful transformation.

President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova, Nikica Mojsoska-Blazhevski CEO at Macedonia2025, and Michael Cklamovski, Chair of the Board of Directors at Macedonia2025 will deliver the opening remarks. VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski, who is expected to be the Prime Minister-designate tasked with forming the new government, will deliver the closing speech, the organizer said.

The main goal of the Macedonia 2025 Summit is to connect and share knowledge and experiences among professionals from various countries and fields, with the aim of fostering growth. There will be opportunities for networking and establishing new partnerships and collaborations with potential investors.

“We will convey that as an organization, we are ready and open to support the new government in achieving higher growth rates of 5 or 6 percent, and how to accomplish that,” CEO Director Mojsoska-Blazhevski said.

Ahead of the summit, Macedonia2025 hosted lectures at higher education institutions, workshops in chambers and companies offering guidance on business growth. Additionally, meetings were held with governmental institutions in the fields of digitalization, the economy, and investment attraction, along with political parties.
