Skopje, 9 October 2025 (MIA) – Lokomotiva - Center for New Initiatives in Arts and Culture is opening on Thursday the October/November edition of its Performance Platform Festival (PPF) 2025.
Continuing its feminist curatorial approach, the second, autumn edition of PPF 2025 turns towards the urgent and complex themes of reproduction, cohabitation, and collective futures. The program features performances, workshops, and open sessions rethinking the body, care, and artistic collaboration.
Skopje's Youth Cultural Center (MKC) is hosting on Thursday the festival's 'fanzine-in-process' session (12 p.m. - 4 p.m.), as well as the dance performance BLISS by Polish choreographer Ramona Nagabczyńska (8 p.m.), followed by artist talk with Irena Cvetkovic, independent researcher in gender studies.
On Friday, Nagabczyńska will hold a workshop "Image, Matter, Presence" at the Faculty of Drama Arts (3 p.m. - 5 p.m.).
In November, the festival will present CODOMESTICATION, a performance by Simona Spirovska and her family as part of Krõõt Juurak and Alex Bailey's touring concept "showing without going". The exact date is to be announced.
