Skopje, 24 April 2024 (MIA) - Today's voting was held in peaceful, fair and democratic atmosphere, but nevertheless, some minor problems occurred at the polling stations, as reported by the election campaign HQ of the Levica presidential candidate, Biljana Vankovska.
According to Monica Manevska, Vankovska’s spokesperson, there have been reports of minor problems with the fingerprint readers at multiple polling stations like Kumanovo, Gjorce Petrov, Aerodrom, and others.
She pointed out that from the field they were receiving information that in Kumanovo queues were formed due to problems with the fingerprint readers, and in some polling stations voting started with delays.
Similarly, it has been said that irregularities occur in these elections in the Electoral Roll with some polling stations recording deceased individuals as voters, while others fail to include voters who have a permanent place of residence and no change of address in the Electoral Roll.
