Kovachevski: Moving forward with good thoughts and deeds

Skopje, 7 January 2023 (MIA) – On behalf of the Government and himself, Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski has extended Christmas greetings to the Pontiff of the Macedonian Orthodox Church-Ohrid Archbishopric (MOC-OA), HH Stefan and Orthodox faithful celebrating the Birth of Christ according to the Julian calendar.

“In the spirit of today’s holiday, let’s remember its symbolism – to love, respect, forgive, help each other and lend a hand to those in need. Kindness in our hearts and wish for unity can win over temptations,” says PM Kovachevski.

The PM recalls on the significance of Christmas, “a day that unifies and signifies unconditional love.”

“As this day brings us together in our family home, let it unify us in all walks of life. Let’s rejoice this day, celebrate the news of Christ’s birth, with love and warmth in our hearts. We can move forward with good thoughts and deeds, creating a better tomorrow for all. Let Christmas be our guiding light in this nascent year. Christ is Born! Merry Christmas!,” says Kovachevski.
