Skopje, 31 January 2023 (MIA) – The fundamental postulates of this ruling majority are aligned with the aspects that the Alliance of Albanians (AA) represents – strategic partnership with the United States, continuation on the path of European integration, and adoption of all reform laws and decisions on this path, said Prime Minister and SDSM leader Dimitar Kovachevski ahead of the meeting of the party’s Executive Board late on Tuesday.

On today’s meeting with AA leader Arben Taravari and the possibility of the party joining the ruling coalition, PM Kovachevski said they are largely aligned on positions, while adding that discussions would continue.

“We discussed the EU screening process, the OSCE Chairmanship, the strategic dialogue with the U.S. and the action plan drafted by the Government, but also the possible enlargement of the ruling majority with AA. We haven’t talked about specific posts yet,” said Kovachevski.

The PM added that he would also meet with Alternativa representatives in the coming days.
