Skopje, 20 January 2023 (MIA) – Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski spoke Friday over the phone with Bulgarian counterpart Galab Donev and provided assurances that the case involving an assault on an Ohrid citizen, a secretary of the “Tsar Boris III” club, would be resolved, BTV reports.

Donev condemned the attack on Hristijan Pendikov and told Kovachevski it was “unacceptable and dangerous, an act of crime against a citizen of the Republic of North Macedonia with Bulgarian self-awareness.”

Donev urged the local authorities to immediately undertake all measures to protect Bulgarians in the country from “any hate incidents”.
