Munich, 18 February 2023 (MIA) — Serbia and North Macedonia’s efforts to promote regional security, stability and democracy were the topics of the Munich meeting between Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on the sidelines of 59. Munich Security Conference, the government said in a press release.

PM Kovachevski and President Vucic pointed out that the European integration of the Western Balkans was in the political, security and economic interest of the EU.

Meeting participants exchanged opinions on bilateral relations as well as ongoing cooperation and regional initiatives.

Kovachevski and Vucic also welcomed the ratification of Open Balkans agreements that have made it possible for citizens of North Macedonia, Serbia and Albania to work in any of the three countries without having to apply for work permits, the release says. mr/
