Skopje, 20 July 2023 (MIA) - Minister of Culture Bisera Kostadinovska-Stojchevska and EU Ambassador David Geer attended the opening of Akantus gallery's exhibition "The Edge of Words", curated by Dijana Tomik Radevska, in the newly opened Europe House in Veles.

With the opening of the exhibition, Macedonian artists Oliver Musovikj, Slavica Janeshlieva, Nehat Beqiri, Aleksandra Petrushevska Ristovska, Aneta Popova and Stefan Mladenovski, shared through their works the artistic message about the power and connection of the word, language and communication.

"The fifth European House is a new home for the people of Veles and for all those who believe in the importance of dialogue and the exchange of ideas, for all who proudly cherish their culture and traditions and who share the ideal of a united Europe," Kostadinovska-Stojchevska said, extending congratulations on the opening of the new urban space in Veles.

At the opening event, verses from the great contemporary Macedonian poet, Kocho Racin, were read by poetess Marija Grubor, accompanied by a guitar performance of jazz musician Filip Bukrshliev.
