Skopje, 10 November 2023 (MIA) - Culture Minister Bisera Kostadinovska-Stojchevska met Friday with Croatian counterpart Nina Obuljen Koržinek on the sidelines of the UNESCO General Conference in Paris, highlighting the excellent bilateral and multilateral cooperation in the sector.

Ministers Kostadinovska-Stojchevska and Obuljen Koržinek highlighted the excellent cooperation between the countries' UNESCO commissions and joint projects, the Ministry of Culture said in a press release.

"We are continuing to take part in regional initiatives and provide strong support to the projects of the regional networks of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) and the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) national committees," said Kostadinovska-Stojchevska.

Interlocutors also referred to the future of the regional initiatives and the role of culture in the Euro-integration processes, as well as the importance of the Zagreb-based Macedonian Culture and Information Center in the enhancement of mutual relations and ties with the Macedonian community in Croatia, reads the press release.
