Kiro Urdin to take part in Bucharest Poetry Festival

Skopje, 11 September 2023 (MIA) — Multimedia artist Kiro Urdin will read his long poem "Rats" at the 13th International Poetry Festival held in Bucharest. Some of his documentaries will also be screened at the festival, which will also put on display an exhibit of Urdin's artworks and aphorisms on Sept. 12.
The exhibit is titled "Tabula Rasa" and includes his paintings accompanied by his books of aphorisms.
The festival will also screen Urdin's documentaries "A Novel in Verse (To the Poetry of Kiro Urdin)" written by Jane Teoharevski, "Tabula Rasa," and "The Planetarium Dance" on Sept. 13; and "Planetarium," "Dogona," and "Life and Death" on Sept. 16.
This year's Bucharest International Poetry Festival will welcome 158 poets from 26 countries, including North Macedonia, Austria, Bolivia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cuba, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Morocco, Montenegro, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Moldova, Spain, Turkey, Netherlands, Uruguay, and Romania.
They will take part in 50 cultural events (book launches, poetry readings, panel discussions, theater performances, film screenings, and exhibitions) at 14 venues in Bucharest through Sept. 17. mr/
