Kiev, 25 October 2025 (dpa/MIA) - The Russian military has once again attacked targets in the Ukrainian capital with ballistic missiles.

At least eight people were injured, Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko said on Telegram. He said that three of them have been taken to hospital. In addition, several fires broke out in the eastern part of the city of 3 million.

According to unofficial information, thermal power plants located there were once again the targets of the launches.

Air-raid sirens sounded briefly across the country due to the possible deployment of a medium-range ballistic missile by Russia.

Ukraine has been defending itself against a Russian invasion for more than three and a half years.
