Brussels, 22 May 2025 (MIA) - I will be visiting Serbia, Kosovo and North Macedonia in the next two days and engage with governments and the civil society on their EU path, says High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas.
"The Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue is a must in moving forward. Now is the time to re-engage," Kallas wrote in a post on X at the start of her tour in Belgrade.
During the visit to Skopje on Friday, High Representative Kallas will meet with Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski. Kallas will also open the first Security and Defence Dialogue between the EU and North Macedonia with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Timcho Mucunski and visit the Balkan Medical Task Force Standing Organisation (BMTF SO) in the presence of Minister of Defense Vlado Misajlovski. In addition, she will also engage with local youth, students and young professionals.
This is Kallas' second visit to the region after her tour in Montenegro, Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina in early April.
