Italian-Macedonian business forum in Skopje

Skopje, 2 July 2025 (MIA) - An Italian-Macedonian business forum will take place in Skopje on Wednesday, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade and the Italian Embassy, in cooperation with the Italian Trade Agency (ITA).

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski and Italy's Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Maria Tripodi, are set to deliver the forum's opening remarks. Deputy PM and Transport Minister Aleksandar Nikoloski, Minister of Energy, Mining and Mineral Resources Sanja Bozhinovska, and Minister of Digital Transformation Stefan Andonovski will also take part at the event.

The forum, which includes a business delegation comprised of about 40 Italian companies and financial institutions, will focus on the promotion of business opportunities in the sectors of infrastructure, energy transition and circular economy, digitization and technological innovations, as well as financial instruments to support investments.

The Italian Embassy has said that the forum aims to promote bilateral cooperation, exchange and investments, with B2B and B2G meetings between Italian and Macedonian companies and institutions. More than 180 Macedonian companies have applied to take part at the event.

FM Mucunski and Undersecretary Tripodi are scheduled to meet on the event sidelines, discussing bilateral ties and possibilities for enhancement of cooperation, primarily in the sectors of economy and trade, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade said in a press release.
