Skopje, 15 October 2025 (MIA) - Industry turnover in August decreased by 3.9 percent compared to the same month in 2024, said the State Statistical Office on Wednesday.

Industry turnover by Main Industrial Groupings was lower in Intermediate goods, except energy by 5.5%, Capital goods by 5.6% and Durable consumer goods by 14.6%, but higher in Non-durable consumer goods by 0.8%.

Industry turnover in August compared to July decreased by 20.9%, while in period January - August, compared to the same period in 2024, it increased by 6.7%.

Industry turnover on the domestic market in August, compared to the same month in 2024, increased by 3.4%, while in period January - August, compared to the same period in 2024, it decreased by 0.7%.

Industry turnover on the non-domestic market in August, compared to the same month in 2024, decreased by 5.8%, while in period January - August, compared to the same period in 2024, it increased by 8.5%.
