Skopje, 1 October 2021 (MIA) – My vision is Skopje to become a modern, European capital, a city we all will be proud of, that will communicate directly and openly with its citizens, Danela Arsovska, an independent candidate running for mayor of the City of Skopje, said Friday presenting part of the projects included in her election program. The election program includes 15+1 projects, which according to Arsovska, will “quickly and efficiently change the way of life of the Skopje residents and allow swift development of the city.” Some of the projects include “Eco-Skopje for balanced development”, strengthened administration, regional cultural center, and Skopje Inopark, a modern and innovative infrastructure for the development of hi-tech companies. Earlier this week, Arsovska presented two major strategic projects for the capital involving eco-friendly public transportation, i.e. free public transportation and 250 new eco-buses. She said it will contribute to reducing air pollution and traffic congestion. The independent candidate in the upcoming local elections is endorsed by the VMRO-DPMNE-led coalition.
