Berlin, 25 March 2023 (dpa/MIA) - Zlatan Ibrahimovic surpassed Dino Zoff's mark for being the oldest man to play in a Euro qualifying match on Friday - but the Sweden striker does not own the record.
That is because Gibraltar's Lee Casciaro also beat the Italian goalkeeper's record on Friday and is four days older than Ibrahimovic.
The Gibraltar forward was 41 years and 176 days old when he started in the 3-0 home defeat by Greece in Portugal's Faro.
Ibrahimovic came on as a substitute in the 3-0 home defeat by Belgium.
Zoff's record had lasted almost 40 years. The 1982 World Cup winner was in goal for Italy against Sweden on May 29, 1983 aged 41 years and 90 days old.
