Skopje, 27 December 2024 (MIA) - Partly wet roads are reported nationwide with moderate traffic outside urban areas and no delays at border crossings.

Heavy vehicles are banned at Tetovo-Popova Shapka road section. Snowdrifts block the road and disrupt traffic along the route from Kriva Palanka to "Golema Crcorija - Golesh" border crossing, i.e. about 600 meters before the crossing.

The Auto-Motto Association of Macedonia (AMSM) notes that as of Nov. 15, 2024, winter equipment in vehicles is mandatory until Mar. 15, 2025.

Landslides are possible along the routes of Katlanovo – Veles, Mavrovo – Debar – Struga, Vinica – Berovo and Kochani – Delchevo.

Motorists are advised to drive carefully, adjust their speed to weather conditions and follow traffic rules, signs and signals.
