Skopje, 7 September 2025 (MIA) - Thirteen people are receiving hospital treatment after suffering injuries in the fire that broke out late on Saturday at the Makprogres factory for confectionery products in Vinica. All patients are in a stable condition, the Health Ministry said in a press release Sunday.

Eight factory employees have been hospitalized at the University Clinic for Toxicology in Skopje, one firefighter has been hospitalized at the Clinical Hospital in Shtip, and four other firefighters are receiving treatment at the General Hospital in Kochani.

Firefighters from neighboring municipalities were engaged in the fight against the fire, which, according to the latest report by the Crisis Management Center, has been contained.
