Skopje, 9 July 2024 (MIA) - World Health Organization (WHO) representative and Head of the Office in Skopje, Akeem Ali, held his first official meeting with Minister of Health Arben Taravari on Tuesday. 

Interlocutors discussed common goals regarding the reform of public health and the strategic progress of healthcare in the country, WHO in North Macedonia posted on Facebook.

"Talks reaffirmed the strong partnership between the WHO and the Ministry of Health, discussing future cooperation within the National Health Strategy 2025-2030. Both Dr. Akeem Ali and Dr. Arben Taravari stressed their shared commitment to the well-being of all citizens of North Macedonia, regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, or living conditions. We work together for a healthier North Macedonia," reads the Facebook post of the WHO Office in Skopje.
