Skopje, 29 August 2024 (MIA) — A solo showing of oils on canvas by Macedonian painter Stefan Hadzhi-Nikolov will open in Varna, Bulgaria. On display will be 15 paintings from his "Wine Stories" series.

This will be the artist's 90th solo exhibition and his 14th solo art show in Varna.

Stefan Hadzhi-Nikolov (b. 1955, Skopje) has an Arts Education degree from the Pedagogical Academy. He has been a DLUM Association of Artists of Macedonia member since 1984. He is also a member of the Slavic Literary and Artistic Academy in Varna.

Over a career spanning 40 years, Hadzhi-Nikolov has had numerous exhibitions in Belgrade, Sofia, Istanbul, London, Paris and other cultural centers. He has received 17 awards, including the 2015 October 23 national award and the 2017 November 13 award of Skopje, both for his high achievements in art. mr/
