Grubi: North Macedonia's European future projected in heart of Europe
Skopje, 19 July 2022 (MIA) – First Deputy PM Artan Grubi congratulated Tuesday the citizens for the country’s first Intergovernmental Conference, a moment which, he said, marks the beginning of the active phase of accession negotiations. In a press release, Grubi said this achievement is a result of the citizens’ determination, of the efforts to overcome all challenges, to reach a horizon with no obstacles for the integration process. “The day has come when all the efforts maintaining the pro-western orientation of the country have been crowned with success, when our entire constructive approach to reach a horizon with no obstacles towards integration has become a reality. We had so many challenges ahead of us, it seemed impossible to achieve our goal, there were so many disorienting ideologies and fears by regressive forces seeking to prevent us from reaching this goal, but through decisiveness, effort, great support from all of Europe, we managed to sit in the heart of Europe today and project our European future,” said Grubi. A lot of work lies ahead, huge responsibility to implement the upcoming processes, he added, but we will manage to overcome all challenges through maturity and common sense, as we have done thus far. ad/ik/
