Skopje, 19 July 2022 (MIA) - Deputy PM in charge of good rule policies, Slavica Grkovska, met with Swiss Ambassador to North Macedonia Véronique Hulmann on Tuesday, and they discussed opportunities for mutual cooperation in terms of anti-corruption policies, digitisation and good management.

As the government press service said, Deputy PM Grkovska thanked Hulmann for the unconditional support and long-term cooperation that the two countries have in terms of improving democracy, transparency and anti-corruption policies. She highlighted that the management of the sustainability of the projects realized by foreign donors be maintained after the project ends and for there to be systemic changes.

Hulmann, as per the press release, judged that it's very important in the planning process for the following activities to determine the priorities in order to secure effectiveness of the process and visible results. She added that they're focused on the environment, climate change, water, democratic rule and parliament, as well as support for the private and civil sectors.

The interlocutors, as the government press service said, concluded that they have a wide field for cooperation and emphasized that it's of extraordinary significance to work on cooperation with the civil sector. dk/sk/
