Athens, 12 January 2024 (MIA) - The Greek police has identified the suspect for the murder of a 39-year-old man and injuries to a 45-year-old man, both North Macedonia nationals, in a villa on the Halkidiki peninsula last July, MIA reports from Athens.
The suspect is already detained in North Macedonia as a suspect in a double murder committed in Skopje last March, with Greece expected to seek his extradition.
After a detailed search, the Greek police found the perpetrator's gun with a muffler, a woolen hat and gloves with gunpowder residuals in the vicinity of the crime scene.

The Greek police adds that the investigation is continuing to identify other accomplices in the crime.

The victim, Orhan Bajrami-Oki, was considered one of the leaders of the "Duqanxhik" drug ring. The two persons killed in the Skopje shooting were also presumed to be members of the same ring.
