Skopje, 2 September 2024 (MIA) - The Government is preparing an analysis to reduce back-to-school expenses and will adopt a measure capping the prices of products at a session on Tuesday, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski told journalists on Monday.

While paying a visit to the “Stiv Naumov” primary school on occasion of the first day of the school year, Mickoski told journalists the Government is preparing to cut down on the expenses that parents have at the start of the school year by capping the prices of the most urgent products.

“We are analyzing all costs and I think it will be done today and tomorrow, at a session of Government we will come out with a plan for capping the prices of products that are necessary for a successful and more relaxed beginning of the school year,” Mickoski said.

The Prime Minister said details for the measure will be announced at a press conference after the Government’s session on Tuesday.
