Government greenlights 50 undergraduate scholarships for foreign nationals of Macedonian origin

Skopje, 1 August 2023 (MIA) — The government at a session Tuesday adopted the proposal of the Ministry of Education and Science to award scholarships in the interest of the Republic of North Macedonia to foreign citizens with Macedonian roots.
According to an official press release, 50 scholarships will be awarded to foreign nationals living in the countries of the Balkan Peninsula for them to enroll as full-time students at state universities in North Macedonia in the academic year 2023-24.
Successful applicants will be offered undergraduate scholarhips to Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje; St. Clement of Ohrid University in Bitola; Goce Delchev University in Shtip; St. Paul the Apostle University of Information Science and Technology in Ohrid; Mother Teresa University in Skopje; and the University of Tetovo. mr/
