Skopje, 26 February 2024 (MIA) — The play "Good People" directed by Tamara Stojanoska and produced by Zlaten Elec independent theater will be staged in the Veles Theater at 8 pm and in Skopje's Comedy Theater on March 11.

The play is a duodrama based on "Lungs" by Duncan Macmillan and "The Relation Work" project (1976-80) by Marina Abramović and Ulay. The cast consists of Veles actors Tijana Trajchevska and Filip Hristovski.

According to organizers in a press release, "Good People" explores the emotional consequences of dealing with the climate emergency and the difficult daily decisions people need to make as individuals and as a society.

"It poses the question if we are good people and if we can be good people at all in this anxious and plastic world full of global anxiety, bad habits, terrorism, unstable weather conditions and political unrest," the release says.

The music score was written by Iva Damjanovski and Viktor Tanaskovski. The photographer is Dancho Stefkov and the executive producer is Boban Aleksoski. mr/
