Skopje, 29 October 2025 (MIA) - VMRO-DPMNE’s candidate for mayor of Skopje, Orce Gjorgjievski, stated Wednesday evening that, at the invitation of Chair municipality mayor Izet Mexhiti, an event was held where their joint cooperation for the second round of local elections for the capital was once again confirmed.

“Thank you, Vlen, for the huge support! This evening, at the invitation of Chair municipality mayor Izet Mexhiti, a strong and unifying event was held where we once again confirmed our joint cooperation for the second round of local elections for the City of Skopje,” Gjorgjievski posted on Facebook.

He noted that the turnout and energy they felt tonight are the best proof that the victory will be historic.

“From the bottom of my heart, thank you! The City of Skopje will not forget you; on the contrary, it will be a true partner to Chair and all its citizens. In Chair, we will work with dedication and planning,” Gjorgjievski stated.

He announced the expansion of “Cvetan Dimov” boulevard, the construction of a multi-story parking garage near “Chairchanka,” investments in a clean and green city, new spaces for recreation and relaxation, and, as he stated, many other projects that will ensure a more dignified life for every resident of Chair.

“With me, dear citizens, there will be no divisions, neither ethnic, religious, nor of any other kind. I give you my word: the City of Skopje will have balanced development and equal access for all. Together, we are moving toward a great victory! The best is yet to come!” Gjorgjievski said in his post.
