Skopje, 24 October 2025 (MIA) – We will make history in Gazi Baba in the second round, VMRO-DPMNE's Skopje mayoral candidate Orce Gjorgjievski told supporters in Idrizovo and Stajkovci at a party rally held together with Gazi Baba Municipality mayor-elect Boban Stefkovski ahead of the Nov. 2 runoff for mayor of Skopje.

"Thank you for your convincing support and the largest difference in votes right here. In addition to this being an honor, it is also a huge responsibility, which I accept with all my heart. I also congratulate my friend Boban Stefkovski on his victory in the first round," Gjorgjievski wrote in a post on his Facebook page.

He said he had promised Creshevo and Smilkovci residents that he would improve their water supply by connecting them to the main pipeline at Croatia Boulevard.

He also said he would promptly solve Skopje's public transit and sanitation problems.

"I am aware of all the problems in the public enterprises, but today I am more motivated than ever to solve them, with strong support from Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski," Gjorgjievski said, adding that "60 buses are ready and just waiting for the green light and another 40 will be serviced so Skopje can receive 100 functional buses immediately."

Gjorgjievski also announced a new sewage system in Idrizovo worth a million euros. He added that these were not empty promises.

"Together with Bobi, we are rolling up our sleeves and starting work right away. It is time for concrete actions and a new page of development in Gazi Baba and Skopje," he said, urging voters to vote for him. mr/
