Skopje, 27 May 2025 (MIA) - Speaker Afrim Gashi said Tuesday the parliamentary majority is stable and is working at full capacity together with the Government.

"The majority is stable. There is no dilemma about whether a majority is there, one political party has gone into opposition but several lawmakers have stayed within Vlen. I believe the Government and the parliamentary majority will work at full capacity," Speaker Gashi told reporters.

Asked about the election of a new minister of health, the Speaker said the PM should first nominate the person and then the motion comes to the Parliament.

First Deputy PM and Minister of Environment and Physical Planning, Izet Mexhiti, said ahead of yesterday's Central Presidency of the Vlen coalition that Arben Fetai will be included in Vlen's leadership and will remain Deputy Prime Minister for Good Governance, while Azir Aliu will be the coalition's proposal for a new Minister of Health following Arben Taravari's resignation and decision to go in opposition.
