Skopje, 1 March 2024 (MIA) — This year's Francophonie Month will start with a screening of the French romantic drama "The Passion of Dodin Bouffant (The Taste of Things)" (2023) at the Millennium movie theater at 8 pm.

French Ambassador Cyrille Baumgartner and Paris-based Macedonian actress Dejana Popovska will open the event.

The film is a French-Belgian coproduction directed by Tran Anh Hung and starring Juliette Binoche and Benoît Magimel.

In 2024, it was nominated for three César awards and won the Best Scenography award at the 2023 Cannes festival.

The film screening was organized by the French Institute in Skopje and the Embassy of France, with the support of Zegin. mr/
