Skopje, 10 December 2024 (MIA) - The Ministry of Interior confirmed early Tuesday an ongoing operation in coordination with the prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime and Corruption.

According to unofficial reports, a dozen of individuals have been arrested over their involvement in illicit operations in energy-mining complex (REK) Bitola and thermal power plants (TEC) Oslomej and Negotino.

Media report that the investigation involves 23 individuals and 2 legal entities in Bitola, Veles, Kichevo and Skopje, with Power Plants of North Macedonia (ESM) former director Vasko Kovachevski among the detained persons.
