Foreign Ministry sets up crisis HQ to assist Macedonian nationals in Israel and Iran
- Due to the deteriorated security situation in the Middle East, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade urged Sunday all nationals of the Republic of North Macedonia who are currently on the territory of Israel and Iran to immediately contact the relevant institutions via emergency (SOS) lines, should they require consular assistance.

Skopje, 15 June 2025 (MIA) - Due to the deteriorated security situation in the Middle East, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade urged Sunday all nationals of the Republic of North Macedonia who are currently on the territory of Israel and Iran to immediately contact the relevant institutions via emergency (SOS) lines, should they require consular assistance.
The Ministry also urged all nationals to refrain from traveling to the countries in the region until the security situation improves.

The Ministry said it has established a crisis HQ which is continuously monitoring the situation and is available 24 hours a day for any needs related to help, support, and assistance.
“We reiterate our call to our nationals located in the affected regions, should they require consular assistance, to contact the listed SOS numbers without delay,” the Ministry said.
