Food and Veterinary Agency: Atlantic Štark biscuits withdrawn from market due to possible presence of ‘foreign body’
Skopje, 19 September 2024 (MIA) - Atlantic Štark’s cocoa coated biscuits Štark Keksići in a 220 g packaging with LOT number 1507482842 and Najlepše Želje Cookies Noisette in 145 g with LOT number 1507483391, both with an expiration date until 11.05.2025, are being withdrawn from the Macedonian market due to the possible presence of a foreign body, the Food and Veterinary Agency told MIA on Thursday.
The Agency urged consumers who have bought the products not to consume them and to return them to the stores.
“The producer of the products that are being withdrawn is Atlantic Štark doo Belgrade, Republic of Serbia. The Food and Veterinary Agency as the institution in charge of food safety is monitoring the withdrawal of the products,” the Agency said.
The Serbian producer said it would withdraw several of its products from the Serbian and Bosnian markets due to the possible presence of a “foreign body”.
