Bitola, 29 July 2025 (MIA) -- As part of Ilinden Days folk song and dance festival, folk song and dance ensembles from Mexico and Poland will perform Tuesday on the outdoor stage in front of Bitola's Officers Hall.

They will be joined by Macedonian folk dancers, members of Struga and Demir Hisar's Ilinden folk ensemble, The Injevo Bagpipe group from Injevo, The Jolly Pensioners from Probishtip and Kopachka folklore association from Dramche.

Also, Sydney-based bagpipe player Gjorgi Stojchevski from Australia's Ilinden ensemble will give a solo performance.

Earlier Tuesday, a folk song and dance workshop will be held at Kocho Racin student dormitory and several international folk song and dance outdoor performances will take place at Bitola's Old Bazaar.

A concert titled "An Echo of the Heartbeat" will take place at Magnolia square at 9 pm.

The festival runs through July 31. mr/
