Skopje, 2 March 2024 (MIA) - Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani opened North Macedonia's Honorary Consulate seated in Antalya after taking part at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum on Saturday.
Honorary Consul Ali Kizildag is a renowned member of the Antalya business community, with a 35-year experience in the field of tourism, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.
FM Osmani said North Macedonia and Turkey have a big potential to enhance economic cooperation and strengthen business ties.
"Possibilities must be used to the maximum, both at state level and by businesses. One of the main goals of this consulate is to increase economic and tourism cooperation, as well as promote business opportunities for investments in North Macedonia," said Osmani.
"Many Macedonian tourists visit Antalya but even more Turkish tourists come to North Macedonia, which is a proof that both destinations need to be promoted further," noted Osmani.
