FM Osmani meets Turkish counterpart Fidan in Antalya

Skopje, 2 March 2024 (MIA) - Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani met Saturday with Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan at the sidelines of the Antalyia Diplomacy Forum, expressing satisfaction from bilateral relations that develop in the spirit of strong traditional friendship and partnership.
Osmani and Fidan agreed that the countries' relations would strengthen through a joint government session, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.
"This year we mark 32 years since the establishment of bilateral ties, a period in which Turkey has continually been our important friend and ally. Therefore, this partnership should be fostered through a joint government session," said Osmani.
He added that bilateral trade exchange has been on the rise over the past five years, while aiming to utilize all potentials for economic and tourism cooperation.
The two FMs also discussed multilateral cooperation within international organizations, especially as NATO allies.
Interlocutors also exchanged opinions on other foreign policy issues and challenges related to the new geopolitical developments, reads the press release.
