Skopje, 17 June 2022 (MIA) - Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani met OSCE Secretary General Helga Schmid at the sidelines of the Prespa Forum Dialogue in Ohrid on Friday, in light of North Macedonia’s OSCE Chairmanship in 2023. FM Osmani said the chairmanship amid such a complex geopolitical moment and the evident polarization within OSCE is a challenge in itself, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release. He added that North Macedonia would do everything to protect the OSCE values. “I am convinced that OSCE should continue to have a leading role in this regard, at the same time preserving its legacy and image in the promotion of human rights and democratic values,” noted Osmani.
