FM Osmani meets Estonian counterpart Reinsalu
Skopje, 19 September 2022 (MIA) – Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani met Monday with Estonian counterpart Urmas Reinsalu at the sidelines of the 77th United Nations General Assembly in New York, discussing the altered European security environment and the effects of the Russian aggression in Ukraine.
FMs Osmani and Reinsalu exchanged opinions on enhancing cooperation within NATO and strengthening of the Alliance’s eastern wing, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.
Osmani also briefed Reinsalu on the initiated European Union accession negotiations and future steps, highlighting the country’s readiness for a successful and swift negotiations’ process.
Interlocutors expressed satisfaction from the intensification of bilateral relations and commitment for continued development of cooperation in all fields of mutual interest.
FM Osmani underscored the importance and need of using Estonian experiences, especially in the field of the society’s digitization, reads the press release.
