Skopje, 29 August 2023 (MIA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs Bujar Osmani held bilateral meetings with high representatives from several countries within the frameworks of the Bled Strategic Forum.

“Today Osmani held productive meetings with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovakia Miroslav Wlachovský; the French State Secretary for European Affairs Laurence Boone; the Portuguese State Secretary for European Affairs Tiago Antunes; the United Kingdom’s Special Envoy for the Western Balkans, Lord Stuart Peach; the member of the French Council of State and former advisor to French President Emmanuel Macron, Alexandre Adam; as well as MEP and the European Parliament’s rapporteur on North Macedonia, Ilhan Kyuchyuk,” said the MFA in a press release.

The talks focused on the current situation in the country regarding the EU integration and the importance of successfully concluding the constitutional amendments process. Current international topics were discussed as well, with a special emphasis on the regional and global challenges of the Russian aggression on Ukraine.

Earlier, Osmani held meetings with the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Korea, Park Jin, as well as the working breakfast with the foreign ministers and special representatives for the Western Balkans, said the MFA.
