FM Mucunski receives credentials of new Montenegrin Ambassador Miljanić

Skopje, 10 September 2024 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski received Tuesday the copies of credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador of Montenegro, Zoran Miljanić.  

Mucunski wished the new Montenegrin Ambassador a successful diplomatic mission, expressing satisfaction with the level of bilateral relations so far, as well as the cooperation in several areas of mutual interest, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade said in a press release.   

Minister Mucunski expressed confidence that Ambassador Miljanić will make a significant contribution in further promoting and deepening friendly relations between the two countries, which are also NATO allies. Mucunski expressed his gratitude for Montenegro's help to the country in dealing with the wildfires. 

"Interlocutors concluded that both sides are fully committed to the EU integration process and the accession negotiations for full-fledged membership in the Union. The two agreed that having the EU enlargement back on the agenda after the establishment of the new European Commission is important for the region as a whole and will contribute to promoting reform and democratic processes," reads the press release.
