Skopje, 13 January 2025 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski received Monday the credentials of the new Italian Ambassador to North Macedonia, Paolo Palminteri.

At the meeting, Minister Mucunski wished the new Ambassador a successful mission, voicing belief that his experience and personal engagement will contribute to a significant deepening of relations between the two countries. Mucunski expressed gratitude over Italy’s commitment and its proactive role in the efforts to accelerate the European integration process for the Republic of North Macedonia.

Mucunski and Palminteri voiced joint satisfaction with the current development of bilateral relations, highlighting mutual commitments to further strengthening of the friendly bonds between the two countries. They also stressed the need to make use of the potential for greater cooperation, especially in the economic sector and other areas of mutual interest, the Ministry said in a press release.
