Skopje, 13 September 2025 (MIA) - The Protection and Rescue Directorate (PRD) said Saturday that a firefighting aircraft is extinguishing the fire in the Skopje village of Trubarevo.

PRD director Stojanche Angelov said the fire has not engulfed the facilities of waste processing company "Nula Otpad", as previously reported, but the "F-Grupacija" company that manages electronic waste.

Earlier, Skopje firefighting brigade chief Zvonko Tomevski told MIA that a large fire of waste materials is burning in Trubarevo, with multiple teams putting it out.
