Skopje, 16 June 2025 (MIA) -- Minister of Finance Gordana Dimitrioska Kochoska and UN Resident Coordinator in North Macedonia​​ Rita Columbia attended Monday a presentation on the agreement for financing joint activities within the framework of the UN Green Finance Facility program.

Minister Dimitrioska Kochoska stressed that donors should communicate more clearly and frequently so that they do not fund the same projects. She also said the government should coordinate key projects with embassies.

"Because of the lack of centralized coordination between our institutions and the embassies, it so happens that the same projects or very similar ones tend to repeat, which means that foreign countries' taxpayers' money is being spent on local projects that need to produce excellent results but they don't produce the expected results because of duplication and insufficient information," the finance minister said. mr/
