Skopje, 13 October 2025 (MIA) – Let us defend our home which we have been building for decades, let us fight for the future of our children and let us restore Zrnovci to the road to development, said SDSM leader Venko Filipche at a rally Monday in Zrnovci.

Filipche said SDSM’s candidate for Mayor of Zrnovci, Vancho Mitev, has a realistic plan for the municipality’s development.

“VMRO-DPMNE’s local government in Zrnovci, led by Borcho Kocev, made many promises over four years but did not implement a single significant project. There is no improvement of the social infrastructure, no development of tourism, the water supply network is deteriorated, the promised youth center and the wastewater treatment plant are missing,” Filipche said, stressing that SDSM’s candidate can alter “this bleak picture”.

Filipche stressed that SDSM is ready to put an end to “the devastation of municipalities and the country”, preserve what has been done and continue to create the conditions for a dignified life for all.

“We are fighting for a local government that will be a service, and not a trophy,” Filipche said in Zrnovci.
