Skopje, 2 December 2025 (MIA) — At SDSM's executive board session scheduled for Tuesday evening, SDSM leader Venko Filipche is set to ask all members of the party's current leadership to resign, he said during a Telma TV appearance ahead of the session. 

He added that the party would elect its new leadership in the next two weeks.

"We are looking for the best people, the people who can best implement the platform I believe our citizens deserve," Filipche said.

Declining to speculate on names, Filipche said the party was motivated to work harder after the recent election results.

"We have teams that will take part in intense work on the ground," he said, adding that SDSM would step up their efforts to recruit members from the younger generation.

This, Filipche said, "will practically mean the SDSM generations will transition from one to another."
