Skopje, 16 August 2021 (MIA) – Participants at the Monday meeting between members of the Commission for Infectious Diseases and the President of the National Immunization Committee Aleksandra Grozdanova discussed the epidemiological situation in North Macedonia, which is becoming more serious with each passing day, Health Minister Venko Filipche posted on Facebook. Managing the situation, he added, requires responsibility on the part of citizens, especially starting today as new restrictions enter into force. “Vaccination is taking place uninterrupted across North Macedonia and hopefully interest in it will continue to grow. I urge citizens to fully abide by measures, maintain distance, have a high level of hygiene and get vaccinated. Vaccines protect us from severe symptoms, fatal outcomes and curb the spread of the virus,” read Filipche’s post.
