Spielberg, Austria, 2 July 2023 (dpa/MIA) - Formula One will be racing on Austria's Red Bull Ring until at least 2030, with a contract extension by another three years announced shortly ahead of Sunday's race there.
The new deal comes just four months after the Spielberg circuit contract was renewed 2024-2027.
The track formerly known as Österreichring and A1 Ring hosted F1 races 1970-1987 and 1997-2003 before returning in 2014, backed by Red Bull co-founder Dietrich Mateschitz and the course named after the energy drink.
"The race in Austria is a big favourite for the drivers and all our fans and we are looking forward to many years of excitement and action that are ahead of us,” F1 president Stefano Domenicali said.
