Exhibit 'Macedonia Remembers: Never to Forget' opens
Skopje, 12 March 2023 (MIA) - Exhibit "Macedonia Remembers: Never to Forget" opened in the Skopje-based Holocaust Memorial Center on Sunday, prepared by the State Archives of North Macedonia and the Institute of National History on the 80th anniversary from the deportation of the Macedonian Jews.
The exhibit opening was attended by public figures, representatives of the academic and religious communities, diplomatic corps and other guests.
Robert Alagjozovski, the National Coordinator for interculturalism, one society, development of culture and interagency cooperation, attended the event on the Government's behalf.
The exhibit consists of 19 boards that present more than 200 documents and photographs, mostly from the State Archives pool, related to periods from the life of Jews in the country, say the organizers.
