European Front's MP Ilir Demiri to act as independent

Skopje, 30 November 2025 (MIA) - In a press release on Saturday Parliament said MP Ilir Demiri had notified the Speaker of the legislature that he will act as an independent MP.

In Parliament, Demiri was part of the parliamentary group of the DUI-led European Front. He is a doctor specializing in infectious diseases, and served as Health Minister in the previous government.

MP Demiri was part of the Alliance for Albanians, which on November 18 decided to act independently and leave the European Front.
